Compost Broth
- 5 cups fresh or frozen vegetable/herb scraps
- 6-7 cups water
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 Tbsp sea salt
- Place all ingredients in a large pot over low heat.
- Let simmer for about an hour.
- Strain (and NOW you can add the left-over pulp to the compost).
- Use the broth immediately, or refrigerate for later use, or freeze for much later use.
